Jevco Electrical Services is actively looking for a motivated apprentice to join our dynamic team.  At Jevco, we are committed to providing first-class services and products to our commercial customers. Position Overview:

As an apprentice at Jevco Electrical Services you will get valuable hands-on experience and the chance to expand your skills. This role offers more than just practical exposure; it opens doors to a diverse array of environments and tasks, allowing you to evolve into a versatile and well-rounded professional. Our work is primarily located in the DFW area and surrounding cities; however, Jevco periodically takes on out-of-town projects, and candidates should be willing to travel up to four hours as needed. (Per diem provided).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

·         Texas Apprentice License (required).

·         1 to 3 years of experience (preferred).

·         Ability to rough walls and ceilings in both wood and metal stud structures.

·         Ability to bend and install EMT conduit.

·         Ability to mount boxes, run MC cable, make connections, lay out and trim out.

·         Ability to install light fixtures including can lights, lay in lights, ceiling fans, various exterior lighting fixtures, ceiling fans and pole lights.

·         Basic problem-solving skills for both commercial and residential settings.

·         Hand tools and transportation required.

·         Ability to travel for out-of-town projects.

·         Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Actively engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay informed about project progress and development.

·         Work under the supervision of experienced electricians to assist in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

·         Learn and adhere to codes and regulations to ensure installation and repairs comply with legal standards.

·         Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
