This is a general application for current and future Electrician Helper openings with Amteck. Ideal candidates will be willing and able to work in a traveling role at one of our construction sites across the United States.


This position will qualify the candidate for participation in our apprenticeship program, and can provide long-term opportunities in the Electrical trade as well as steady work, benefits, and a 401K.

Primary Role:
Electrician Helpers work under the supervision and direction of Journeyman Electricians, foreman, and other
leadership on the construction project. Helpers will perform duties as assigned within their assessed skill level,
and will have the opportunity to enroll in Amteck's accredited apprenticeship program to work and study
toward achieving Journeyman classification and licensure. Electrician helpers will also have the opportunity to
learn and grown in other divisions of Amteck, like low voltage, controls, process work, and fire alarm along with
other skill sets within the electrical trade.


Requirements:
0-2 years of electrical experience on commercial or industrial sites
Experience with running/bending Rigid and EMT conduit preferred but not required
OSHA 10 preferred but not required
Experience working alongside a Journeyman Electrician
