In this hands-on role, you'll drive a company flatbed truck to job sites and work alongside experienced installers to learn how to install and repair overhead doors, rolling steel doors, and dock equipment. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a 20' flatbed truck to transport tools, doors, and materials to job sites

  • Assist experienced technicians with the installation and repair of commercial door and dock equipment

  • Load and unload heavy mechanical components (5075 lbs.)

  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and workspace

  • Follow safety protocols on-site at all times

  • Participate in hands-on training in mechanical, electrical, and construction tasks

  • Perform basic site prep and cleanup duties

  • Represent United Steel Products with professionalism and respect at every site

Qualifications
  • Valid NY Drivers License for 3 years with a clean driving record

  • Experience driving a 20' flatbed truck required

  • OSHA 30 Certification and NYC SST card required

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

  • Construction background preferred

  • Mechanical or electrical knowledge a plus

  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks

  • Positive attitude and professional appearance required

  • Willingness to learn and grow into a skilled installation role
