Window & Door Installer

Willoughby, OH

Euclid Glass & Steel Door, Inc. is currently searching for a full-time Window & Door Installer to join their team in Willoughby, Ohio. In this role, you will repair, install, replace, and service various types of glass and steel products. A technician spends time tackling different tasks, depending on the issue, such as analyzing problems, running tests, and repairing equipment.

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • 8 hours per day

Our Window & Door Installer will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous glazing experience is highly preferred
  • Two or more years of construction and or carpentry experience
  • Valid Driver’s License is preferred
  • Ability to perform all maintenance and operations checks of job-related equipment.
  • Proficiency in personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. This role requires an above average knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interact clearly and effectively, in both written and oral communication, with supervisors, clients, staff, vendors, etc. This includes responding to common inquiries or complaints as well as effectively presenting information.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Window & Door Installer Responsibilities:

  • Installs glass and steel products to customers
  • Installs glass and steel products in commercial buildings
  • Delivering products to client
  • Performs repairs on products at client locations
  • Provides all customers with excellent customer service
  • Educates customers on service and installations
  • Performs high-quality installations and strives to complete jobs correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoots product and installation problems
  • Utilizes drills, pumps, and all equipment necessary for installing insulation
  • Provides on-call access for customers after hours for emergency repairs
  • Follows all policies, procedures and safety guidelines as outlined by the Company
