Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have entry level experience in installing various types of commercial doors, including but not limited to steel doors, fire-rated doors, and architectural aluminum frames. The Commercial Door Installer will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation of doors in commercial buildings, such as offices, retail spaces, hospitals, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:

                •              Install and/or replace commercial doors according to specifications and building codes.

                •              Measure and cut materials accurately to fit door openings.

                •              Install door hardware, such as locks, hinges, handles, and closures.

                •              Test doors to ensure proper operation and alignment.

                •              Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation.

                •              Work closely with the general contractors to ensure project deadlines are met.

                •              Maintain a clean and organized work area.

                •              Always adhere to safety standards and protocols.

Requirements:

                •              Proven or entry level experience as a Commercial Door Installer or similar role.

                •              Seeking to learn blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

                •              Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

                •              Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

                •              Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

                •              Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

                •              Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials and equipment.

                •              Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
