Job Summary:
George Nice & Sons is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Apprentice Construction Craft Laborers. This entry-level position is part of our Apprenticeship Program and is designed for individuals who want to build a career in the construction industry. Apprentices will receive hands-on training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and opportunities to develop skills across multiple trades.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with general construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and job site cleanup
  • Work alongside skilled tradespeople to learn carpentry, concrete work, utilities, and other construction skills
  • Safely use hand and power tools under supervision
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Participate in structured apprenticeship training (on-the-job and/or classroom instruction)
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Perform physical labor such as lifting, digging, carrying, and moving materials
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the company

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • No prior construction experience required
