Client Support Specialist

Nesco Data Center & Infrastructure is seeking a Client Support Specialist in the Greater Columbus OH area.

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Client Support Specialist to support a confidential enterprise client and an internal Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service, mobile technology, and solving technical challenges while building a long-term career in project management.

The position begins as a full-time, in-office role to ensure comprehensive training and client support. After approximately six months, there is potential to transition to a hybrid schedule based on successful performance, demonstrated proficiency, and client satisfaction.

This role offers significant career development opportunities. Successful candidates will receive cross-functional training in Customer Service, Help Desk Operations, Product Implementation, Project Management, Logistics, and Client Support. Individuals who excel in this position will have the opportunity to advance into a Project Management Support role, with long-term potential to become a Project Manager.

Essential Responsibilities Mobile Device Ordering & Asset Management
  • Receive and process mobile device requests for new hires.
  • Create and submit wireless device orders through carrier and customer portals.
  • Track device shipments and coordinate delivery prior to employee start dates.
  • Maintain inventory and manage backfill device stock.
Device Activation & Customer Support
  • Provide Tier 1 support for mobile device activations and activation troubleshooting.
  • Activate new devices and manage personal-to-corporate account transfers.
  • Deliver Tier 2 support for mobile device configuration, corporate email setup, and authentication issues.
  • Educate users on self-service tools and available support resources.
Technical & Administrative Support
  • Configure and support enterprise mobile devices.
  • Install and troubleshoot Microsoft Authenticator, Microsoft Intune, and related applications.
  • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) enrollment and configuration.
  • Assist users with portal access, account issues, and authentication problems.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal IT teams and wireless carriers, including AT&T and Telecommunication.
  • Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and SharePoint resources.
Client & Project Coordination
  • Coordinate mobile device offboarding activities with Human Resources and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in recurring client and project meetings.
  • Support customer training sessions and informational workshops.
  • Assist Project Managers with ongoing initiatives, special projects, and operational activities.
  • Support emergency response and Continuity of Operations (COOP) activities when required.
Wireless Service Management
  • Manage wireless device and service requests.
  • Process upgrades, replacements, cancellations, and service modifications.
  • Generate wireless reporting, including active line reports and usage information.
  • Coordinate monthly cancellation activities for inactive services.
Compliance
  • Follow all client policies, security requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Technical Skills
  • Experience activating and supporting mobile devices.
  • Working knowledge of Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms, preferably Microsoft Intune.
  • Experience supporting Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), including Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams, WebEx, or similar collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems is preferred.
