Role Overview
  • Our client is seeking a Technical Project Manager with experience in the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will support projects related to PACS imaging informatics. This role involves managing application support, migration, and upgrade projects to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of imaging informatics across the health system. must have experience working with PACS imaging.
Key Responsibilities
  • Must have experience working with PACS imaging.
  • Manage and oversee projects related to PACS imaging informatics, including image flow, manipulation, archiving, and display.
  • Support radiology, cardiology, and other specialties by ensuring efficient use of imaging technologies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and stakeholders to drive projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Utilize technical knowledge of healthcare software/hardware and network/security aspects to support project goals.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Work on application migration projects, including the migration of approximately 30 applications.
Required Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree is required.
Experience:
  • A minimum of four years of project management experience is required.
  • Experience working with PACS imaging.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly within the radiology or imaging domain, is ideal.
  • Candidates without direct healthcare experience must have a background in managing technical projects such as software development, infrastructure, application support, application migration, or application upgrades.

Skills: A strong understanding of healthcare software/hardware and network/security technologies is needed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PACS systems, particularly Phillips PACS, is highly desirable.
