JOB TITLE: Water Application Technician

DEPARTMENT: Cesco Solutions Sales, a Tidal Vision Company

REPORTS TO: District Operations Manager/Food Process Specialist

STATUS: Full time,exempt

LOCATION:Central Wisconsin(on-sitew/travel)

SALARY: $85,000 - $95,000/year based on interview outcome and overall experience

JobSummary:

This role supports the Sales and Technical teams by leading the setup, operation, maintenance, and repair of proprietary wastewater treatment pilot systems for customer trials and field applications. The position involves commissioning pilot equipment at customer sites, ensuring systems run effectively, and supporting ongoing optimization of Cesco's chemical treatment programs in heavy industrial environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers toestablishtreatment programs,collectand interpret performance data, and make informed, data-driven adjustments to improve system outcomes.Strong communicationskills are essential, as this role serves as a key link between operations, customers, and the technical and commercial teams.

This position requires flexibility, as work may occur outside of standard business hours depending on project and customer needs. Travel is a significantcomponentof the role, estimated at50-90%throughoutWisconsin, Northern Illinois, Eastern Minnesota, and Northern Iowa.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Set up, commission, andoperateproprietary Cesco wastewater treatment pilot systems at customer sites
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pilot equipment, pumps, feed systems, controls, and related components
  • Support installation and startup of treatment equipment and chemical feed systems in heavy industrial environments
  • Collect, record, and analyze operational and performance data from pilot and full-scale systems
  • Use data to make informed, real-time adjustments to chemical programs and system operation tooptimizeperformance
  • Assistinestablishingand maintaining customer accounts for Cesco
  • Provide technical field support to Sales and Technical teams during trials, evaluations, and ongoing programs
  • Document system performance, service activities, and site conditions through service reports and internal communication
  • Ensure equipment and site work are completed safely and in compliance with customer and company safety standards
  • Support equipmentlogistics, preparation, and refurbishment between deployments


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of technical experience in water treatment
  • 5+years experiencewith plumbing and electrical, general mechanical skills
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work outside of standard operating hours as needed; travel 50-90%throughoutWisconsin, Northern Illinois, Eastern Minnesota, and Northern Iowa. Travel to Alaska as needed- see Travel section.


Travel:

  • This role requires extensive travel. Travel to Alaska on project-based work for 4-6 weeks at a time may be required. Work includes isolation bonus pay of $150.00/day on top of salary. Employees will not be asked to work in Alaska for more than 90 days per calendar year. Travel expenses, lodging, and food are included.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This role will require the ability to move, stand, sit, bend, lift, and turn freely.Must be able to handle tools and operate equipment while using proper PPE at all times.Position will berequiredto visit customer sites which may include but is not limitedto:manufacturing sites, water treatment facilities, mills, or related. Will berequiredto be in adverse weather conditions.

  • Incumbent is subject to a background check.
  • Local State Driver's license and proof of insurance required by the time of hire.
