Application Support Analyst
Onsite | Minneapolis, MN

Join Bachman's as an Application Support Analyst and play a critical role in keeping our business operations running smoothly across the organization. In this fast-paced, highly visible role, you'll provide Tier 2 technical support for enterprise and ancillary applications used by up to 600 employees across every department. From troubleshooting urgent technical issues to improving support processes and documenting business workflows, you'll be a key problem-solver and trusted partner for teams throughout the company. This position is ideal for a proactive, solutions-driven professional who thrives under pressure, enjoys cross-functional collaboration, and wants to make a meaningful impact by strengthening operational efficiency and supporting Bachman's continued growth.
Job Duties:
  • Provide Tier 2 support for Enterprise software applications used by the business units and real-time interfaces. This includes the setup, updating and maintaining of those applications and system.
  • Partner with IS and department leaders in managing the digital channels to include implementation, interfaces, upgrades, break/fix, and capacity planning.
  • Construct process diagrams and procedures on key applications or processes for all Bachman's business units.
  • Conduct performance monitoring, perform application testing, and assist with system reviews and in all projects requiring IS involvement.
  • Train and reinforce user training on the Company's software applications ensuring user adherence to policy, procedure and best business practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum two to four years of Tier 1 and three to five years of Tier 2 enterprise level application support.
  • Three to five years' experience in documenting functional requirements, workflows and solutions using a structured methodology is required
  • Knowledge of and ability to effectively communicate functional concepts to technical team and system design concepts to end user.
  • Working knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with numerous technologies and business teams across multiple locations.
  • Working knowledge of Point-of-Sale Systems and experience in supporting Retail Management Systems (RMS.
  • Working Knowledge of Content and Collaboration software such as Confluence, Slack and SharePoint.
  • Proficient with PC operating systems, Windows Servers, and SQL Servers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence & Reporting Systems.

Schedule:
Monday- Friday Business Hours, on call one weekend a month+
