Job Description

Title: Application Support Analyst

Duration: 6+ months

Reston, VA

Interview: Phone then F2F

Need GC and USC

Support several key applications critical processes as their associated infrastructure components and servers such as Autosys, Middleware (WebLogic) Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) TIBCO, Network, UNIX, Wintel, Oracle/Sybase.

Follow Client defined change management process for deployment

Work with development team to establish/enhance knowledge articles supporting application to current production support.

Provide support to test and business teams by ensuring the test environments and application jobs are processing.

Provide support on on-boarding new application to production

Good understanding of NFR

Ability to write simple SQL queries

4 or more years' experience in application support

Proven history of successful interaction with customers

Good knowledge of Autosys, SQL, UNIX and WebLogic

TIBCO knowledge is plus, not required

Good communication and analytical skills

POSITION TWO

Title: Application Support Analyst

Duration: 6+ months

Need GC and USC

The Application Support Analyst will provide Level two technical expertise in the area of application support for Acceptance and Production environments. Analyst provides support with Incident analysis, incident management and production support for application and Infrastructure related issues. The candidate also resolves defects following defined standards and practices

Role

Support several key application critical processes as well as their associated infrastructure components and services such as Autosys, Middleware (WebLogic), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), TIBCO, Network, UNIX, Wintel, Oracle/Sybase, ETL

Follow Client defined change management process for deployments.

Strong understanding of Remedy and Incident Management processes.

Work with Level three and Level two teams to establish/enhance knowledge articles supporting application production support

Ability to write SQL queries in supporting level two production support analysis.

Strong understanding of OS level Patching processes for UNIX and Wintel Hosts.

Minimum Experience

6 or more years' experience in production support environment (24X7)

Proven history of successful interaction with internal customers and/or enterprise IT department

Strong working knowledge of Autosys, Java, SQL, WebLogic, UNIX, Oracle, ETL, Sybase, Microsoft Excel, Remedy and My Services

Strong communication and presentation skills
