About the Role
Clarvida is hiring a Community Integration Specialist to join the Catalyst Program in San Diego, CA. This full-time role offers competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work with Transitional Age Youth (TAY) ages 16-25 who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of becoming homeless. As a Community Integration Specialist, you will provide direct services, coordinate participant needs, and support recovery and wellness goals in a collaborative, recovery-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct services to participants and coordinate needs for each participant on their caseload
  • Identify and build upon the strengths of consumers, coworkers, and the communities served
  • Support consumers' steps toward recovery and wellness
  • Create an organizational culture that respects and celebrates the diversity of consumers
  • Provide participant and family support
  • Mentor participants in communication skills, affect management, problem-solving, stress management, and other life skills
  • Assist participants in contacting and utilizing community resources
  • Participate in the development of wellness and recovery plans
  • Transport participants to accommodate community relationships (use of personal car or vehicle is required)
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and/or the company
