Job description

PURPOSE  

The Software Integration Specialist works directly with new clients from kickoff to live processing of solution, setting up and configuring the system for each client’s unique requirements. This includes but is not limited to the initial training and integration of ibml software, providing support, and frequent collaboration with our project managers and the end users integration teams to ensure all phases of the implementation are successfully completed.

The Software Integration Specialist is a Subject Matter Expert in many categories.  They should have hands-on experience in several disciplines. They can master a variety of hardware platforms including distributed platforms, desktops, and mobile devices. In addition, they should also possess skill and understanding of a variety of Operating Systems. A broad and deep understanding of Databases is also required.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Project Management in the collection of requirements, documents and other information for the creation of the technical design document, which describes how the solution will be implemented for the client.

• Establish project capabilities and limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces for the end user solution.

• Confer with systems analyst, engineers, programmers and others to design and configure solution

• Develop custom application code (java scripts) required to meet a client’s specific business rule.

• Synthesize knowledge of ibml information systems and workflow processes to collaboratively plan and carry out integration activities

• Deliver solution configuration and end-user training that drives adoption and satisfaction

• Conduct implementation training sessions with clients (remotely and at client location) to facilitate application and interface set-up and configuration

• Resolve client inquiries, maintaining ownership through resolution

• Perform root-cause analysis, develop logical conclusions, and suggest alternative configurations

• Develop and maintain a high level of product and business knowledge

• Assess complex situations, seek collaborative solutions and prepare and present recommendations

PREFERRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Management Information Systems or 5 years extensive experience with Solution Integration in Document Imaging Industry

• 1-3 years experience in application software support, coding, and/or implementation

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and proposing new strategies

• Demonstrated maturity and demeanor to establish immediate professional credibility with clients

• Ability to work independently while being a team player

• Ability to assess complex situations and facilitate solutions in a collaborative manner

• Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented

• Experience with Java Development, html, Relational Databases such as, but not limited to, MS SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and XML

• General knowledge of network Active Directory, domain security policies

• Working knowledge of IIS, Apache, and Tomcat

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, and Power Point)

• Experience capacity and sizing planning

• Willingness/Ability to Travel as needed
