Position Overview
Matrix Global Services is seeking an experienced Application Integration Architect with deep expertise in the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform to lead enterprise integration initiatives across our growing client portfolio.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect and trusted advisor who can design scalable integration architectures, establish API governance frameworks, and guide clients through complex digital transformation programs. You will work closely with executive stakeholders, product teams, application owners, and engineering teams to connect enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and data ecosystems through modern API-led architectures.
This is a highly visible, client-facing role that combines technical leadership, solution architecture, delivery oversight, and strategic consulting.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Integration Architecture
  • Design and lead enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Define API-led connectivity strategies utilizing Experience, Process, and System APIs.
  • Architect integrations across ERP, CRM, HRIS, ITSM, data platforms, and custom applications.
  • Establish enterprise integration standards, patterns, and governance frameworks.
  • Define deployment architectures across CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Design secure, scalable, and resilient integration solutions supporting business-critical workloads.

API Strategy & Governance
  • Define API lifecycle management standards, including versioning, documentation, security, and monitoring.
  • Establish governance policies for API design, error handling, authentication, authorization, and SLA management.
  • Create API specifications using RAML, OpenAPI (Swagger), and MuleSoft best practices.
  • Drive API reuse and standardization through Anypoint Exchange and reusable integration assets.
  • Implement enterprise security frameworks including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and mutual TLS.

Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Lead client discovery workshops, architecture assessments, and solution design sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable integration architectures and implementation roadmaps.
  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for integration strategy and platform modernization initiatives.
  • Present architectural recommendations and solution approaches to executive and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead technical design reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Oversee delivery teams throughout design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support phases.

Practice Development
  • Support pre-sales initiatives, solution scoping, effort estimation, and proposal development.
  • Contribute to the development of integration accelerators, reusable assets, and best practices.
  • Mentor MuleSoft developers and junior architects.
  • Lead internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and technical workshops.
  • Stay current on MuleSoft product innovations, Salesforce ecosystem updates, and emerging integration trends.
