Job description

POS INTEGRATION ANALYST REQUIREMENTS: 3 years+ working experience supporting POS hardware/software 2 years+ working experience consulting with cross-functional teams (communication is a must) POS INTEGRATION ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES: Strong experience in hospitality or retail Point of Sale. Ability to understand and troubleshoot Point of Sale functionality related to both hardware and software. QSR Technology, Kitchen Display Systems.

Understand industry standard configuration methods, XML, INI, Windows Registry, etc. Reviewing debug logs, datasets and working with vendors to isolate root cause and address a fix as needed. Strong experience with technical problem resolution.

Must have great problem-solving skills, ability to quickly adapt. Ability to quickly acknowledge and take ownership of an issue, Self-starter, ability to perceive and carry out next steps without direction. Experience with large scale implementation of applications, infrastructure or databases related to restaurant operations and associated technologies.

Exceptional organization, communication skills, and attention to detail. This role may occasionally be responsible for assisting in configuring, deploying, supporting, and improving our Point-of-Sale solution and hardware. The role may occasionally collaborate and partner with peers to ensure stability across the estate and provide quick resolution times for escalations during pilot phase of integrations.

Work as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams. Plans effectively yet can adapt to priority changes. Collaborate with team and vendors to test, identify, and manage issues.

Respond promptly to others to ensure open and timely communication. Communicate all issues, status updates, action items, and risks to the management team. Support technical efforts with vendors and product teams to complete and enhance integrations.

Assist with technical team documentation, ensuring processes and work arounds are updated and new solutions properly documented, and the knowledge base updated. Strong knowledge of application/integration testing, performance monitoring and testing strategies in order to effectively communicate with QA teams.
