Job description

The Business Analyst Intern will support the Applications team in the implementation and enhancement of enterprise systems. The role will focus on assisting with requirements gathering, system testing, and documentation for new application deployments, as well as ongoing initiatives related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and Power BI.
The intern will work under the guidance of the Applications team to support project delivery activities and gain exposure to core business systems, data processes, and IT standards.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
2.1 Assist in gathering, documenting, and refining business and technical requirements for application deployments
2.2 Support the rollout of new applications, including system configuration validation and user readiness activities
2.3 Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test script creation, execution, and issue tracking
2.4 Work with stakeholders to understand current and future-state business processes
2.5 Assist with data validation and reconciliation activities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)
2.6 Support Power BI initiatives by helping gather reporting requirements, validating data outputs, and assisting with report testing (no development required)
2.7 Document system workflows, data mappings, and functional specifications
2.8 Help maintain project documentation, including meeting notes, requirements, and test results
2.9 Collaborate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve application issues
2.10 Assist with other application-related projects as needed
Education and Training:
3.1 High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
3.2 Must be actively pursuing a degree in Cyber Security or Information Assurance.
General Requirements / Technical Requirements & Skills:
4.1 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
4.2 Interest in enterprise systems, data structures, and system integrations
4.3 Basic understanding of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
4.4 Familiarity with SQL, data analysis, or databases is a plus
4.5 Exposure to reporting tools such as Power BI (functional understanding preferred, not development)
4.6 Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
4.7 Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
4.8 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools
