Location: New York, NY Fully On-Site at Client Location
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Are you a macOS expert who thrives on face-to-face interaction? We are seeking a dedicated Deskside IT Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be employed by our MSP, but you will work 100% on-site as a dedicated, embedded engineer at one of our premier corporate client locations. You will serve as the trusted, visible face of IT, providing high-touch desktop support specifically tailored to a heavy Mac environment. This role combines the stability and growth opportunities of an established MSP with the focus and community of a dedicated single-site placement.


Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Support: Provide elite, face-to-face deskside technical support for local executives and staff.
  • Apple Ecosystem Management: Troubleshoot, configure, and deploy MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, and iPads.
  • Hardware & Software Lifecycle: Handle local hardware repairs, data migrations, and software installations.
  • MDM Administration: Utilize Addigy to manage, patch, configure, and secure macOS endpoints.
  • Documentation & Tickets: Keep highly accurate, up-to-date documentation and track your daily tasks.
  • Cross-Platform Integration: Assist users with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and enterprise VPNs on macOS.
  • VIP Support: Deliver white-glove, priority technical assistance to C-suite executives and VIP users.
  • MSP Liaison: Act as the primary on-site bridge between the client's local staff and our remote MSP service desk.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 3+ years in a deskside support or desktop engineering role, preferably within an MSP or corporate enterprise.
  • OS Expertise: Advanced, deep-dive troubleshooting knowledge of macOS and iOS.
  • MDM Knowledge: Hands-on experience using Addigy or another similar MDM for Apple device management.
  • MSP Tools: Experience utilizing Autotask for ticketing and ITGlue for documentation is a major plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, clear communication, and a polished professional presence.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage your daily on-site ticket queue independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • Certifications: Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Addigy certifications are highly desirable..
