We are seeking a full-time, motivated Sales Representative to join our growing company.

This position reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing and executes a high degree of communication and coordination with various stakeholders in and out of the organization. The ideal candidate has previous apple sales experience, is results-driven, and has a solid work ethic.

Job Description

Essential Functions

  1. Support the development of retail business accounts
  2. Help company meet its sales and profitability objectives
  3. Coordinate between various internal and external stakeholders regarding inbound and outbound product shipments
  4. Communicate accurate and timely information to sales team
  5. Coordinate with staff on packing needs, daily orders, priorities, etc.
  6. Anticipate business trends, stay on top of markets, use available information to make better informed business decisions
Qualifications

Competencies

  • Strong Computer software proficiencies in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer programs (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, AS400) 
  • Experience creating and giving sales presentations 
  • Strong Customer/Client focus 
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Outgoing, aggressive self-starter, motivated and organized
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Enthusiastic and willing to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Education & Experience

  1. 3+ years of sales experience 
  2. Experience selling Northwest apples and cherries preferred
  3. Customer portfolio, preferably with retail and food service accounts
  4. Extensive knowledge of varieties, grades, sizing and packaging
  5. Capable of profiling customers and generating leads

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Valid WA State Driver License
  • Current motor vehicle insurance and access to a reliable vehicle
