Job description

Printfresh is looking for a Senior Product Development Coordinator to help bring our collections to life from concept through production. If you are incredibly detail-oriented, calendar-obsessed, love sustainable and size-inclusive fashion, and enjoy pushing forward designs to completion, this job is for you.
This role sits at the center of Design, Product Development, Production, and Sourcing, supporting the execution of our seasonal sleepwear, apparel, and home collections while ensuring product aligns with the Printfresh aesthetic, quality standards, margin goals, and delivery timelines.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in apparel product development, thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and has a genuine passion for print, color, fabric, and thoughtful product creation. This person should be comfortable owning categories independently, managing multiple timelines simultaneously, and building strong relationships with both internal teams and overseas vendor partners.
This is a full-time in-office role, based in our Philadelphia office 5 days a week.
Responsibilities
Product Development & Execution
  • Manage development timelines and seasonal calendars to ensure styles are progressing on schedule from concept through production handoff
  • Coordinate, assign, and schedule appropriate meetings, according to development calendar
  • Create and maintain accurate product development WIP report to ensure on time sample delivery.
  • Track and follow up on all development milestones including fabrics, trims, lab dips, strike-offs, samples, costing, and approvals
  • Own development communication with overseas factories and vendor partners
  • Partner closely with Design to help execute the creative vision while balancing costing, quality, and production realities
  • Help troubleshoot development and production issues proactively and communicate risks early

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Attend concept, sketch review, and fit meetings to understand design intent and product priorities
  • Collaborate with Design, Technical Design, Production, Planning, and Merchandising teams throughout the development process
  • Ensure accurate product information, sample tracking, and development updates are maintained across systems and shared clearly with cross-functional teams
  • Support smooth transition of adopted styles into production including handoff notes, approvals, and development status

Sourcing & Materials
  • Help source fabrics, trims, washes, embellishments, and print techniques that align with the Printfresh brand aesthetic and target margins
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with factory and vendor partners
  • Track material lead times, minimums, and development risks
  • Maintain organization of development materials, sample archives, and raw material references

Quality & Process
  • Review samples for accuracy, quality, and alignment to design intent
  • Ensure product meets internal quality standards and testing requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, communication, and workflow within the product development process
  • Mentor and support junior team members where needed

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in apparel product development, sourcing, or production coordination
  • Experience working within a fast-paced fashion, DTC, or specialty retail environment
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, print development, and manufacturing processes
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple moving priorities simultaneously
  • Proactive problem solver with a sense of urgency and accountability
  • Comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
  • Experience with PLM systems and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills preferred
  • Passion for color, print, design, and product creation
