Product Development Manager
Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado (Hybrid)
Role Overview
This is a highly visible Product Development role supporting a major growth area for a leading telecommunications company. The successful candidate will work directly with leadership, own requirements and feature development for commercial video products, and join a team in need of this specific expertise. This is more of a technical product role than a traditional project management position and offers long-term potential for growth.
Key Responsibilities
  • Author product and feature requirements for commercial video products.
  • Create product documentation and product guides.
  • Serve as the technical product lead, partnered with an existing Program Manager.
  • Drive product development activities for new products and feature enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams and provide technical oversight.
  • Work with cross-functional partners to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Support commercial video product launches and ongoing enhancements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise around video technologies and platforms.
  • Help ensure alignment between business requirements, product strategy, and technical implementation.
Required Qualifications
  • Product Development Manager experience or a similar product-focused role.
  • A strong technical background and the ability to understand complex video technologies.
  • Commercial video industry experience.
  • Experience with IPTV/IP Video, CDN (Content Delivery Network), and Multicast video.
  • Ability to write detailed product and feature requirements.
  • Experience creating product documentation and guides.
  • Strong partnership skills with engineering and technical teams.
  • Ability to work onsite in the Denver area 4 days per week.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Video application development experience.
  • Experience working closely with software engineering teams.
  • Commercial/business video application experience.
  • Experience with video engineering and development, including QAM and IP/CDN technologies.
