We are looking for a VP, IT & Data & Commercial Marketing and Commercial Marketing Product Group Lead who will report to our Americas, Chief Information Technology Officer. The position is based out of Toronto, ON or Montreal, QB. 

ABOUT THE JOB:  

VP, IT & Data (Canada)

As a core member of the Americas IT & Data Leadership Team, this role serves as the strategic liaison between IT & Data and the Canadian business. The position ensures strong alignment between local business priorities and global technology strategy, driving delivery excellence and business satisfaction. Partnering closely with Canadian leadership and local and global IT product teams, this leader translates business strategy into scalable technology and data solutions.  

Representing IT & Data at the Canadian leadership team, the role ensures technology and data accelerate growth, operational efficiency, and digital transformation. Additionally, the role holds end-to-end accountability for the Business Partner model for the US and Canada, reflecting the strong interdependency of platforms, run operations, and commercial execution across both markets. 

Commercial Marketing Product Group and App Dev Chapter Lead (Americas)

Lead the Commercial Marketing Product Group and App Developer Chapters for the entire Americas region, owning the strategy, roadmap, delivery, performance and value creation of Commercial Marketing products, including: B2B, B2C, Costumer & Consumer Engagement and CRM platforms that support 11B revenue across Canada, US, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. This includes responsibility for the product group P&L, squads, and strategic alignment with regional and global stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

VP, IT and Data (Canada) 

Strategic Business Partnering 

  • Act as main point of contact between business and IT & Data function to align on strategic priorities, roadmaps  
  • Identify business technology needs and strategies and develop a strategic roadmap of products and services to enable growth, developing business cases to secure commitment for delivery 
  • Ensure related priorities are clearly and consistently communicated to business and IT & Data organization 
  • Manage the IT strategic roadmap for business organization to IT & Data organization (ie, Product Group Leaders) and secures commitment of delivery within IT & Data organization 

Performance & Value Creation 

  • Optimize business interactions with IT & Data, providing more efficiency and quality to delivery 
  • Identify opportunities for technology and analytics to generate value for business 
  • Manage business continuity and reliability by ensuring IT & Data operations are performing and delivering without disruption; engage and manage escalations as required 

Governance & Relationship Management 

  • Manage project and product portfolio within the assigned business area 
  • Provide consultation during all phases of product development, including ensuring business requirements are identified 
  • Help institute product ownership and management using agile (Scrum) Framework and delivery model 
  • Represent Canada in regional and global IT forums, ensuring visibility of local needs and alignment with global standards 
  • Work closely with business stakeholders throughout multiple areas under their responsibility, coordinate IT strategy within Product Group Leaders and connect with Product Owners 

Commercial Marketing Product Group Lead (Americas)

Vision & Strategy 

  • Define and embody the strategic vision for the Commercial Marketing product group and translate it into a multi-year roadmap for the Americas region 
  • Identify needs for new platforms, capabilities or squads, ensuring coherence across products that support Americas operations 

Product Delivery & Portfolio Management 

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of Commercial Marketing products, ensuring value creation and alignment with customer and user needs 
  • Govern the product group 3.5M P&L, optimizing value vs. cost and prioritizing within an agile portfolio framework 
  • Ensure product quality, timely releases, stability and continuous improvement 

Team Leadership & Operating Model 

  • Lead Product Owners and squads across the Americas region, creating an environment of innovation and high performance for team members spread across five countries and multiple time zones 
  • Promote adoption of Agile frameworks, consistent ways of working and cross-market collaboration 
  • Maintain strong relationships with markets, functions, Product Group peers, and global stakeholders 
About You

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • MBA or other advanced degree in IT, Business Systems or Data and Analytics required 

  • Scrum Master (CSM or PSM) certification preferred  

  • 15+ years in IT & Data leadership roles 

  • Bilingual in English and French required, fluency in Spanish a plus 

  • Significant expertise in Commercial technologies: Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, RGM, CRM, Customer Data, Master Data with experience in Salesforce, KANTAR, Commerce Tools platforms a plus 

  • Solid grasp of data integration, analytics and business insight 

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience leading product groups, product owners and agile squads 

  • Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders and influencing transformation. 

  • Demonstrated leadership experience across large multi-country, multicultural teams (Americas preferred) 

  • Ability to connect strategy with execution while removing roadblocks
