What You'll Do as an Apartment Maintenance Technician:
We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who is hands-on, technically skilled, and ready to lead a service team at a high-volume community. In this role, you will:
• Lead, train, and guide maintenance staff throughout daily operations
• Complete and oversee service requests to ensure timely, high-quality results
• Coordinate and assist with make-readies, upgrades, and maintenance schedules
• Ensure all work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently and accurately
• Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
• Maintain organized inventory and ensure proper use of tools/equipment
• Support the Property Manager with various maintenance projects and initiatives
• Uphold community standards for safety, cleanliness, and resident satisfaction
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you MUST have:
• Minimum 3 Year(s) Previous Experience as a Apartment Maintenance Technician in multifamily housing (including team supervision)
• Valid HVAC Certification REQUIRED
Boiler experience Preferred
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Stable work history
• A personal set of basic hand tools
• Proven ability to coach, train, and lead service technicians
• Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and time-management skills
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.
Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
Working Environment:
This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
