Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a residential apartment community, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access management, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to property management and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe resident and visitor activity in accordance with property policies, documenting security-related concerns and/or incidents as required.
  • Support a positive residential living environment by assisting with routine security-related requests, reporting maintenance or property concerns observed during patrols, and following post orders for the location.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
