As a visible member of a collaborative, highperforming team, the successful candidate will take ownership of select direct client relationships, targeted prospecting efforts, and contribute to and support the overall sales strategy, building a career at a respected and growing investment firm. This position is based at our office in Los Angeles.

RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Manage CRM (Salesforce) data with accountability for pipeline accuracy and progress, and assist in executing the overall sales strategy within a defined territory.
  • Leverage third-party data tools-such as Preqin, eVestment, and WithIntelligence-to provide actionable investor insights and intelligence for sales initiative.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reporting for internal stakeholders, incorporating client feedback, fundraising updates, and industry trends to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate directly with portfolio management, investment, and reporting teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of client information and reporting requirements.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.)
  • 3 - 5 years of experience; within asset management or related sales roles preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; a relevant field of study and internship experience are preferred.
  • Active FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses required.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are not required, but Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
ABOUT YOU:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues at all levels and locations.
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Proficient Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
WHAT CIM OFFERS:
