Job description

Who We Are

At JCK Restaurants, we believe every team member makes a meaningful contribution to our success. We don’t believe in “that’s not my job” — here, we all pitch in where needed to keep things running smoothly.

If you’re organized, detail-driven, and love making sure the numbers line up just right, we’d love to have you on our accounting team!

What You’ll Do

As our Accounts Payable Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our payables process — making sure vendors are paid on time, invoices are accurate, and everything flows through the system seamlessly.

Your typical day might include:

  • Reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, coding, and proper approval.
  • Ensuring payments are made correctly and on time.
  • Assisting with month-end close by posting transactions to ledgers and journals.
  • Responding to vendor and internal inquiries — with patience, professionalism, and a smile.
  • Reconciling vendor statements and payment records for accuracy.
  • Preparing and filing compliance documents (including 1099s) and keeping W9s up to date.
  • Suggesting improvements to make our AP process more efficient and user-friendly.
  • Supporting special projects and stepping in wherever needed.
  • And of course — showing 100% attendance and modeling our company values of teamwork, accountability, and compassion every day.

What You’ll Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (some college or accounting experience a plus!).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Fast and accurate typing and 10-key abilities.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and handle deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive attitude — you don’t just get the job done, you make it better.
  • Team player who’s also confident working independently when needed.

Where You’ll Work

  • Indoors, in a collaborative office setting (and yes, you’ll probably have your favorite desk spot soon enough!).
  • Long periods at the computer — but surrounded by great teammates who make the workday enjoyable.

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • You’ll play an essential role in keeping our financial operations running like clockwork.
  • You’ll work with supportive, fun teammates who appreciate what you do.
  • You’ll have opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact on how we do business.

Ready to Join Our Team?

  • If you’re ready to bring your accuracy, energy, and passion for organization to a company that values your contributions — we’d love to meet you!
  • Apply today and help us keep the numbers (and payments) right on track!
