Job Title: Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator

Location: North Houston, TX

Compensation: $25.00 – $26.00 per hour

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Coordinator to join a growing team in North Houston. This role is responsible for supporting the full-cycle accounts payable process by accurately processing invoices, maintaining vendor records, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-volume AP environment and must have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documentation
  • Route invoices for approval and ensure timely processing
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies
  • Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and account inquiries
  • Maintain accurate vendor files, including W-9s and payment information
  • Assist with weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payment processing
  • Support month-end close by preparing AP reconciliations and accruals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage accounts payable transactions and reporting

Required Qualifications

  • 2 + years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment
  • Required: Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Experience with full-cycle accounts payable and three-way matching
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, and basic formulas
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience supporting month-end close activities
  • Manufacturing, distribution, or industrial industry experience is a plus
