Member Sales & Service Specialists, or MSS as we call them, are there to assist the Studio Manager with having connected, personable conversations with prospects, helping book prospects into intro classes to experience the amazingness of Pilates, and converting those prospects into members of our community! Member Sales and Support Specialists know our members and can anticipate their needs in advance. Member Sales and Support Specialists are experts in all things membership sales, retail sales, and private training sales! Member Sales and Support Specialists MUST be comfortable chatting and building connections on the phone with prospects. This is a SALES position. Is one of your talents the ability to sell anything to anyone at any time?! In this role, you will be required to sell Pilates to anyone and everyone that reaches out! Pilates and/or fitness knowledge or background is helpful but not required. We are looking for someone who can be a part of our studio hype squad!!

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

  • Respond to customer emails, text messages and phone calls. This includes always answering the phone, returning texts, calls and emails the same day, and escalating issues to management as needed
  • Execute sales protocols for prospect follow-up, membership sales, or intro class booking
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all clients of the studio, be it in person, over the phone, via text messaging or email
  • Conduct tours of the facility while actively engaging with individuals
  • Meet or exceed sales call goals per shift
  • Meet or exceed assigned KPI’s
  • Achieve personal and studio-level sales goals
  • Help to maintain a clean and orderly studio
  • Participate in special events as needed to promote the studio
  • Smile a ridiculous amount
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone, via email, and text message
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking in groups of up to 12 people
  • Strong sales and customer service skills
  • Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve membership, retail, and service objectives
  • Ability to learn and use the Club Ready software system
  • Punctual, reliable and professional
  • Ability to work harmoniously as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt and evolve in an ever-changing fast-paced diverse environment
  • Ability to stand or sit for up to 8 hours throughout the workday
  • Hearing sufficient to understand conversations, both in person and on the telephone
  • Reliable means of transportation to studio and occasional offsite events
