Kick-start your IT career with hands-on experience at The Wonderful Company. We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy summer intern to join our Desktop Support team, where you'll gain real-world exposure to enterprise IT operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, IT Services, this internship offers the opportunity to build foundational technical skills, support employees across the organization, and explore what a future in Information Technology can look like.
Job Description
  • Provide day to day help desk support for all employees
  • Manage new employee hire and termination forms and procedures as related to I.T.
  • Utilize the IT helpdesk system, and accurately document all requests and resolutions, MSSC Service Manager Experience a plus, but not required.
  • Deploy and manage iOS and Android devices such as iPhones, iPads and Samsung Galaxy devices.
  • Manage workstation upgrades and repair for existing employees
  • Provide troubleshooting, and manage service calls for printers & copiers locally and remotely
  • Provide network connection troubleshooting

Qualifications
  • Hands on working knowledge of Windows OS, old, new and current versions.
  • Previous experience deploying, upgrading and repairing PC and Server hardware.
  • Excellent oral and written communication customer service skills required.
  • Ability to interact with VIP users to troubleshoot and quickly find solution to problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, repair and solve hardware and software issues for Desktops, network & telecom devices, mobile devices, printers software and hardware related problems.
  • Excellent time management/planning, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills are required.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, works well with minimum supervision.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, managerial and organizational skills.

Pay Rate: $18.50/hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
