JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manufacturing Supervisor II (internally known as Value Stream Supervisor II) supports the Value Stream Manager in driving the process of continuous improvement for a stable value stream. This position is responsible for supervising and driving continuous improvement for the manufacturing crew within the value stream and deliver business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is medium in size and/or complexity. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation's values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream maps
  • Deliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management system
  • Provide direct leadership to value stream team leads, production employees and potentially other supervisors
  • Provide indirect leadership to other support functions and other supervisors (matrix organization)
  • Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew, Team Leads, and Supervisors, promoting career growth opportunities.
  • Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.
  • Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach to problem solving
  • Establish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performance
  • Expected to make large decisions for multiple manufacturing crews (entire value stream) and potentially an entire shift of multiple value streams

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and leadership experience.
  • 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience

PAY RANGE:
$78,824.00 - $122,176.00

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
