Job description


We are seeing an experienced and motivated customer facing account manager who would own the customer relationships of complex software accounts. The Account Manager will drive retention and growth of a portfolio of accounts. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior-level stakeholders, developing deep insights into their business needs to deliver tailored solutions. This role involves crating strategic, long-term plans, managing complex business requirements, and leading cross-functional teams (including sales, marketing, and product) to maximize value and client loyalty.
Requirements
  • Own a portfolio of existing accounts representing recurring revenue.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, workflows, and goals.
  • Maintain and expand long-term relationships with the portfolio of existing customers.
  • Drive client satisfaction, retention, loyalty, and references.
  • Deliver strategic support; assisting to coordinate Software Upgrades in conjunction with the PSO team, PM and the client.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and strategic planning; act as the Client Advocate.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) or semi-annual business reviews, roadmap discussions, and renewal strategies.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Product teams to align solutions to client objectives.
  • Achieve revenue retention targets.
  • Identify and execute upsell opportunities with the account base. Drive cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and forecast account performance accurately.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in SaaS account management or client-facing Intellectual Property legal tech roles.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce a plus.
  • Prior experience working with IP management or docketing software (e.g., Memotech, Anaqua, IP Folio, FoundationIP or equivalent).
  • Exceptional client communication, negotiation, and executive presence.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales cycle and legal operations.
  • Based in or willing to commute to the Silicon Valley area.
  • 30% - 50% travel expected.
