Project Management Specialist – PMO

Power Grid Operations

Position Summary:

The Project Management Specialist (PMO) supports Area Project Managers in managing change logs, compliance reporting, and project documentation for multi-year substation optimization and area capacity projects across the Triangle North and South regions. This role focuses on ensuring accurate project tracking, supporting operational efficiency initiatives, and maintaining organized reporting for project review and compliance purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and oversee consolidated project change logs to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project updates and modifications.

Support Area Project Managers with compliance reporting and documentation for multi-year substation optimization and area capacity projects.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement strategies that reduce operations and maintenance (O&M) costs associated with work orders.

Prepare comprehensive project documentation and presentation materials for project review meetings and stakeholder updates.

Analyze and organize project data into clear, presentable reporting formats.

Assist with coordination of project activities, timelines, and administrative support functions within the PMO environment.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
