Location: San Bruno, California (Onsite)
Role Overview
This is a highly visible individual contributor position central to the continued growth and success of a dynamic team within a leading retail media organization. The role requires an intellectually curious, analytical, and detail-oriented self-starter to develop solutions for complex and high-visibility business questions. The position offers broad exposure across Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams, focusing on customer insights and media investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop, execute, and deliver customer insights that influence media investment strategies and business growth.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of insights analyses, ensuring clear communication and accountability with stakeholders.
  • Develop, enhance, and produce predictive and Machine Learning models to generate behavioral shopper insights and target audiences.
  • Drive strategic initiatives by identifying issues, creating hypotheses, executing analyses, and translating data into meaningful insights.
  • Present concrete, hypothesis-driven deliverables to advertisers and support the development of executive-level presentations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners, including sellers and account managers.
  • Translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders and present externally on a quarterly basis.
  • Identify opportunities for improving existing data sources and engage with broader teams to acquire and summarize these sources.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, with the ability to adjust code as needed.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Knowledge of Tableau for automation and reporting.
  • A general understanding of Machine Learning and data science principles.

Experience:
  • Proven background in research methodology, statistics, and data analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to be consultative and present complex information clearly.
