This position serves as a Management Analyst within the Program Oversight and Accountability Division on the Approvals Management and Oversight Team and is responsible. The incumbent is responsible for providing the Approvals Management and Oversight team chief and first line supervisors with objectively based information for making decisions on the administrative and programmatic aspects of education operations and management within the assigned portfolio.Qualifications:To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement: close date of announcement.Time-in-Grade: Applicants who are current federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements.
  • For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11 level.
The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:GS-12 Grade Level:
  • Specialized Experience: In addition to the experience required for the GS-11, applicants must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-11 level) in the normal line of progression for the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience diagnosing problems within the organization and implementing plans and means to make improvements and/or implement change; or experience developing the design of business processes, systems, technology, and/or job roles.
