The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Pharma Forecasting Specialist to join our team. The role involves working as a key stakeholder within a cross-functional team to deliver forecasts at the global, regional, and country levels based on business needs.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of pharmaceutical forecasting experience, strong therapeutic area (TA) expertise, and the ability to develop forecasting assumptions, create concept notes, and prepare impactful presentations. Basic proficiency in Python is required to support forecasting and analytical activities.

Your key responsibilities

As a Manager in Commercial analytics and Forecasting, you will work as a key stakeholder within a cross-functional team to deliver forecasts at the global, regional, and country levels based on business needs.

In this pivotal role, you will:
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term brand forecasts to support strategic and operational planning.

  • Conduct brand, franchise, regional, and country-level forecasting, providing actionable business insights and recommendations.

  • Apply quantitative and analytical techniques to solve forecasting challenges and perform sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities.

  • Build, validate, and enhance forecasting models, recommending appropriate assumptions and methodologies.

  • Analyze historical performance, market dynamics, and business drivers to improve forecast accuracy.

  • Prepare concept notes, reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.

  • Present findings to internal stakeholders and senior leadership to support decision-making.

  • Leverage Python and analytics tools to automate and optimize forecasting processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting best practices, innovative methodologies, and emerging forecasting technologies

  • Perform forecasts across brands, franchises, regions, and countries to drive business decisions.

  • Demonstrated track record of delivering robust forecasts and actionable business insights at global, regional, and country levels.

  • Extensive experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including Commercial, Finance, Market Access, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Strategic Planning teams.

  • Proficiency in forecasting and analytics platforms such as SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and other data processing tools.

  • Strong working knowledge of Python for analytics, forecasting, process automation, and advanced modeling applications.

  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and advanced statistical techniques applied to forecasting and commercial decision‑making

  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving capabilities, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,500 to $230,200. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $150,700 to $261,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.

  • Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
