Description of Job:

The Global Market & Customer Analytics Manager is responsible for generating high-quality market, customer, and competitive analytics that support strategic decision-making across the Government Health Division (Public Health and Forest Health). This role focuses on data-driven insight generation, performance measurement, and analytical support aligned to the Division’s Balanced Scorecard priorities. The position enables leadership to monitor progress against strategic objectives, improve customer-centric decision-making, and ensure fact-based evaluation of growth initiatives, portfolio performance, and customer outcomes.

Principal Responsibilities:

Balanced Scorecard Alignment: Entrusted Leader

  • Deliver accurate, timely, and reliable market and customer analytics to support regional business management decision-making
  • Maintain data integrity and analytical rigor across dashboards, reports, and models
  • Support transparency and accountability tracking performance within Manufacturing and Supply Chain functions against defined key performance indicators (KPIs).

Balanced Scorecard Alignment: Re-imagine Health

  • Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and demand signals in Public Health & Forest Health B2G markets
  • Support evaluation of innovation initiatives, portfolio shifts, and emerging technologies through data analysis
  • Provide analytical inputs that help assess long-term market opportunities and unmet customer needs

Balanced Scorecard Alignment: Education Champion

  • Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams
  • Support development of data-driven storytelling and educational material for internal stakeholders
  • Partner with marketing, product and sales teams to improve understanding of customer and market dynamics

Core Analytics & Insight Responsibilities

  • Support customer segmentation, market sizing, trend and customer lifetime value analysis
  • Track competitive activity and summarize implications for the business
  • Develop and maintain dashboards related to customer experience, portfolio performance, and market growth
  • Support voice of customer (VOC) and customer journey measurement.
  • Other important parameters for this position include:
  • Domestic and international travel is expected to be up to 10%.

Experience:

  • 5-8 years of experience in market analytics, customer analytics or business intelligence roles.
  • Experience supporting strategy, marketing, or portfolio teams with analytical insights
  • Demonstrated ability to work with complex datasets and synthesize insights

Skills/Attributes Required:

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and business intelligence tools including Power BI
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Skills/Attributes Desired:

  • Experience in regulated, science-based, or government-facing markets

Education:

Travel: up to 10%

Location: This position may be performed remotely from any Canadian province excluding Quebec.

Base Salary: The estimated annual base salary for this position ranges from:

$103,500 to $131,000 CAD. Individual pay is based upon location, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Incentives: All full-time employees are eligible for an incentive program or profit-sharing program in addition to their base salary.
