Role Overview
We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and customize scalable ServiceNow applications that address business and operational needs. This role will focus on configuration and scripting within key ServiceNow modules including ITSM, IRM, SecOps, ITOM, and SPM. The developer will work cross-functionally with business analysts and technical teams to ensure seamless integration with current systems and processes. The ideal candidate demonstrates technical fluency with ServiceNow architecture, and shows a strong understanding of secure, maintainable, and scalable development practices. Preference will be given to those with hands-on experience in Security Operations (SecOps) and automation integration.
Employee Value Proposition (EVP)
Purpose:
This role plays a critical part in building enterprise-wide capabilities on the ServiceNow platform, enabling efficient service delivery and risk reduction across departments. By optimizing workflows and implementing automation, you'll directly contribute to improved operational resilience and digital maturity.

You will gain exposure to high-impact projects involving ITSM, SecOps, and risk management, working with a modern tech stack and a collaborative, agile team. As the ServiceNow platform expands across the organization, this role offers a fast-track path to senior development, architecture, or platform owner roles.
Motivators:
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems through technology and wants to work in a forward-looking team that values innovation and cross-functional learning. You'll have the autonomy to introduce best practices and the support to continuously develop your expertise in both ServiceNow and secure enterprise systems.

2. Lead Development and Deployment of SecOps Use Cases (By Month 6)
Own the development and deployment of core SecOps capabilities including Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Vulnerability Response. Partner with InfoSec and compliance teams to ensure business alignment. Demonstrate measurable value through reduced threat response times or improved remediation tracking.
3. Ensure Seamless Integration with Legacy and Modern Systems (First 6 Months)
Collaborate with architects and infrastructure teams to implement clean data flows and robust system integrations between ServiceNow and key enterprise applications. Validate that APIs, import sets, and mid-server configurations are functioning as intended, minimizing outages and data discrepancies.
Critical Subtasks
1. Support Ongoing Module Configuration and Maintenance
Within the first 60 days, take ownership of configuring and maintaining ServiceNow modules including ITOM, IRM, and SPM. Ensure consistent updates to forms, fields, and workflows. Resolve incidents and apply patches without regression issues while ensuring compliance with internal change control.
2. Write, Review, and Maintain Custom Scripts and Workflows
Author and maintain high-quality server-side and client-side scripts (e.g., Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies). Within 90 days, deliver at least two custom workflows supporting business automation or self-service enhancements.
3. Perform Unit Testing and Debugging to Ensure Platform Stability
Establish test cases and debugging procedures for all code changes. Participate in sprint reviews to demonstrate tested functionality. Reduce post-deployment defects by at least 75% over the first three release cycles.
4. Collaborate Cross-Functionally to Translate Business Requirements into Technical Solutions
Work with business analysts to gather, clarify, and document requirements. Translate them into actionable development tasks. Ensure traceability from requirement to deployment using story-based agile methods.
5. Document Technical Solutions and System Changes
