General Summary of Job Duties:The Financial Planning and Analytics Associate role is responsible for producing, maintaining, and distributing recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports that support management oversight and decision-making across the casino resort. This position ensures the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data used in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. The role prepares variance analyses, dashboards, and standardized reporting packages, and works closely with finance, accounting, and operational teams to validate data, investigate anomalies, and explain performance drivers. This position requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to clearly communicate financial results to departmental leadership and executive management.

Principle Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Produce, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc financial and operational reports supporting management oversight across all casino resort departments (gaming, hotel, food & beverage, retail, etc.).
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of financial and operational data used in reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Compile, validate, and analyze data from multiple systems and sources to support standardized reporting packages, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Prepare variance analyses, trend analyses, and performance summaries to explain key drivers of results and highlight notable changes or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and operational teams to reconcile data, resolve discrepancies, and improve data quality and reporting reliability.
  • Document reporting methodologies, definitions, assumptions, and processes to ensure consistency and transparency across reporting outputs.
  • Identify reporting inefficiencies, data gaps, and opportunities for process improvement; recommend enhancements to reporting workflows and tools.
  • Support department heads with analysis, reporting, and data requests to assist with operational decision-making.
  • Present analysis, findings, and insights to departmental leadership and executive management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage multiple reporting deliverables and projects concurrently while meeting established deadlines.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and special reporting projects as requested by leadership.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal reporting standards, data structures, and reporting tools used across the organization.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality and security of sensitive financial, operational, and guest-related information.
  • Maintain an open and effective line of communication with leadership and the executive team regarding reporting needs and deliverables.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, reports, and presentations that meet organizational standards.
  • Ensure a high level of data accuracy and integrity in all reporting outputs.
  • Maintain a high quality of guest service in accordance with Silverton Values and Exchange Hotel Management standards.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, team members, and vendors.
