The HR Technology / People Analytics team within Gartner derives actionable insights from workforce data to recommend and implement better ways of attracting, developing, and retaining Gartner associates to drive growth, higher sales, more productivity, and better client experiences. We drive impact on Gartner's Mission Critical Priorities by leveraging state of the art technology, analytics, and processes.

What we're looking for:

The Senior Analyst, People Analytics will be responsible for providing analytical and consultative support to Gartner's Services & Sales Operations HR teams to drive optimal insights into staffing, retention and productivity. This role will ensure analytical best practices and influence the interpretation of insights with a relentless focus on data accuracy, consistency, and scalability in alignment with Gartner's growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provides support to our senior HR Partner and Recruiting leadership across Services & Sales Operations teams, including proactive identification & solutioning of critical business problems.

  • Works with internal partners within the People Analytics function and within HR.

  • Influences product and analytics roadmaps across the organization, ensuring Sales & Services priorities are driving People Analytics priorities.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, HR and/or consulting.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex/unstructured business problems through the lens of curiosity and a desire to learn.

  • Extreme attention to detail in the support of the production of executive-ready content.

  • Uses data and the economics of the business to analyze problems and recommend solutions (can translate insights into actionable solutions).

  • Ability to clearly and succinctly communicate with senior leadership to drive decisions.

  • Proven track record of establishing trusted partner relationships, including collaborating with and influencing leaders and teams across multiple business functions.

  • Proven ability to drive actions by creating compelling stories with data.

  • Familiarity with SQL data analytics skills preferred.

  • Experience with R, Python or other programming languages preferred.

  • Experience with Databricks and PowerBI or comparable tools preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 100,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
