Job description

Responsibilities

As a Revenue Operations Data Analyst at InnovAge, you will own and scale our analytics capability across sales, marketing, and enrollment operations. This role is responsible for building and maintaining our Microsoft Power BI ecosystem, including the underlying data models that power executive reporting and frontline decision-making. You will serve as the primary owner of sales performance analytics and incentive compensation, managing monthly commission calculations while identifying opportunities to improve plan design and drive better outcomes.

This role goes beyond reporting. You will act as a strategic partner to Revenue Operations leadership, proactively generating insights, diagnosing performance gaps, and recommending actions that improve conversion, productivity, and growth across the PACE enrollment funnel.

Essential Functions and Work Responsibilities

Functional Category: Data, Analytics, Incentive Compensation & Administration (100% Time)

  • Microsoft Power BI & Data Model Ownership
    • Own the design, development, and maintenance of Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reporting infrastructure
    • Build and optimize scalable data models, ensuring accuracy, performance, and usability
    • Own KPI definitions and ensure consistent metric calculation across all reporting and dashboards
    • Identify gaps in current reporting and proactively develop new dashboards to support business needs
    • Partner with BI and engineering teams to define and improve upstream data pipelines and data availability
    • Validate and reconcile data across CRM, marketing, and operational systems to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Sales & Marketing Analytics
    • Deliver actionable insights on pipeline health, conversion rates, and channel performance
    • Analyze performance across the PACE funnel (Lead → Intake → HSD → Enrollment → Start of Care)
    • Perform ongoing data validation and QA to ensure accuracy and reliability of reporting outputs
    • Identify trends and drivers of performance across markets, teams, and campaigns
    • Support A/B testing and performance measurement across marketing and sales initiatives
    • Provide recurring and ad hoc executive-ready reporting
  • Incentive Compensation Ownership
    • Own end-to-end execution of monthly sales incentive compensation plans
    • Calculate, validate, and deliver accurate commission payouts for ~100 sales team members
    • Identify risks, anomalies, and edge cases in payout calculations and proactively resolve discrepancies
    • Partner with Finance and Payroll to ensure timely and compliant payments
    • Analyze plan effectiveness and recommend improvements to drive desired behaviors
    • Model and simulate proposed compensation changes and business impact
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Develop and deliver clear, impactful presentations to communicate strategic plans and objectives
    • Extract and analyze data from internal databases to support operational needs
    • Support additional high-impact analytics and strategic initiatives as business needs evolve

REQUIRED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or revenue operations
  • Demonstrated ownership of dashboards or analytics environments used for business-critical decision-making
  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft Power BI (data modeling, DAX, performance optimization)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • Experience managing or supporting sales incentive compensation programs
  • Strong ability to translate data into actionable business insights
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems

PREFERRED

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university (MBA is a plus)
  • Preferred majors: hard sciences, mathematics, engineering, data science, finance, business, entrepreneurship, or any discipline requiring high technical aptitude

Work Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Experience in healthcare, PACE, or regulated environments
  • Experience working with Microsoft Power BI data pipelines / ETL tools
  • Background in revenue operations, sales operations, or marketing analytics
  • Certifications (Preferred):
    • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
    • Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP-600) or equivalent experience
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900) or related data/analytics certifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization

  • Familiarity with data pipelines, data transformations, and maintaining data integrity across systems
