Senior FP&A Analyst


Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to support and enhance our financial planning and analysis function. The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in maintaining consistency across planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles while providing leadership with timely, actionable financial insights. This Senior FP&A Analyst will partner closely with leadership to drive informed business decisions.


Pay:
Based on Experience ($90k-$120k)
Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Modeling

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst will maintain and enhance the company’s financial and operating models
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning processes
  • Lead or assist in monthly close and reporting cycles to ensure accurate and predictable financial outcomes

Reporting & KPI Management

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst will prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics
  • Provide visibility into business performance and emerging trends

Analysis & Decision Support

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst will analyze revenue, expenses, and profitability to identify risks and opportunities
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis and support special projects with actionable recommendations

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business leaders to gather and validate financial and operational data
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of data across departments
  • Collaborate with IT/IS teams to improve data systems and integrity

Systems & Tools

  • The Senior FP&A Analyst will utilize Salesforce, NetSuite, and other internal systems for data extraction, modeling, and reporting
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness of reporting tools and processes

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of FP&A experience, preferably within SaaS or recurring revenue environments
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills
  • Experience with Salesforce and NetSuite (reporting and data extraction)
  • Ability to operate independently and drive results
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership
