The candidate must be a self-starter who can work from various levels of requirements to craft test plans and cases that ensure coverage of all the business system flows. By actively participating in planning and status meetings along with team chat, communication throughout the process is vital to ensure project cadence. Regular updates (typically daily) are required to keep impacted teams moving forward together in this complex series of activities. Routinely working with developers, business systems analysts, other QA testers and stakeholders, the candidate must be able to have clear and concise communications.

Must be able to develop, document and maintain large complex data sets to fully exercise the end-to-end testing along with integration and system level testing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing manual verification and validation of large volumes of data at rest and in transit through the systems under test.
  • Documenting test cases and tracking outcomes from test execution with company approved testing tools.
  • Ability to manage your own workload, prioritize and deliver reliably.
  • Report defects and follow-up through fixes and closure using Azure DevOps.
  • Create SQL queries for a variety of databases to manage test data and verify program outputs.
  • Adapt to changing timelines and business needs while ensuring the highest level of data accuracy at all stages of the migration.
  • Collaborate in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Be comfortable working with systems without a user interface. Much of the work is done by running/scheduling jobs, checking logs, executing APIs with Insomnia, or similar. There is minimal UI checking with the end-user interfaces.
  • Problem solver, analytical thinker, strong attention to detail.
  • Participate in off-hour production releases in a support capacity.

Job Requirements

Ideal Candidate Traits

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Proactive and takes initiative
  • Team-oriented and collaborative

  • Support System: An active Business Systems Analyst (BSA) available for guidance and questions.
  • Historical Insight: Team members provide context and guidance on past decisions and project history.
  • Training Approach: A blend of side-by-side training, self-paced learning, and shadowing opportunities.
  • Empowered Learning: "Spread your wings and fly. If you stumble, the team is there." We believe in giving you the freedom to find your path while offering a strong safety net.
