This position is exclusively open to students pursuing a university degree.

Internship dates: From August 31st to December 18th 2026


By joining CAE's Global Tax function, you will support tax professionals across Canadian, U.S., International and Indirect Tax, based on business needs and project priorities. While the role is not structured as a formal rotation program, it offers meaningful exposure to global tax matters through collaboration with multiple tax teams and participation in a variety of mandates.


In this role, you will contribute to the preparation and review of tax returns, support income tax provision calculations, and assist with global tax initiatives. You will also participate in tax analyses and provide support on indirect tax matters, gaining insight into how a multinational tax function operates across jurisdictions.


This opportunity is well suited for candidates seeking a seniorlevel internship experience in taxation, who are interested in developing a solid understanding of complex accounting and tax standards applicable to large, publicly traded multinational corporations. Responsibilities will be assigned progressively, based on the intern's experience and learning curve.


Responsibilities:


  • Support Global Tax teams (Canada, U.S., International and Indirect Tax) based on business needs and priorities
  • Assist in the preparation and review of corporate tax returns, information returns and supporting documentation
  • Support income tax provision calculations and related analyses for Canada and selected international jurisdictions
  • Participate in tax reconciliations and validation of financial and tax data
  • Use Excel and structured data to support tax calculations, analyses and compliance processes
  • Contribute to the improvement and standardization of tax files and templates, including basic automation where applicable
  • Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, Legal teams and external advisors
  • Assist with tax audits, internal reviews and documentation requests
  • Maintain highquality documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls

The ideal candidate we are looking for has:

  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with interest in advancing datarelated skills

Languages


  • Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required, due to the bilingual and global nature of the role

Preferred Education :


  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance or a related field. Previous internship experience in tax, accounting or finance is considered an asset.

Location of the internship is Montreal.

Internship will be carried out in hybrid mode.

All hires will be required to complete, sign and return the Controlled Goods Program form within a week of its transmittal. They must also provide a copy of their passport or birth certificate. All students with a work permit must provide a copy of it and a police clearance certificate from the country or countries where they have resided in the past five years.
