Job description

Weโ€™re looking for a Manager to help lead the team at our brand-new family entertainment facility opening soon at Pacific View, Ventura!
Are you into video games, bowling, karaoke? Are you friendly, outgoing? Do you enjoy being around people and work in a fun environment? Then youโ€™re the kind of person weโ€™d love to hire!
The Amusement Manager will be responsible for the profit of the arcades and cranes through effective management and control of staff and equipment. They are also responsible for excellent customer service, problem-solving and implementing all company policies and procedures.
Please note you must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.
Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.
All of management will handle and serve alcohol - as such, you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service:
  • Provide superior customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
  • Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction.
  • Assist customers and perform minor repairs on various machines without the assistance of mechanic on duty.

Team Management:
  • Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operating practices and policies.
  • Plan and prepare work schedules and assignments of employees to specific duties.
  • Complete reviews, absence reports, and supervises staff with time and attendance.
  • Selects, coaches, and develops effective staff for the Amusement Department.

Sales:
  • Achieve targeted sales goals.
  • Ensure the store and redemption area present an enticing image by changing store displays for better traffic flow.
  • Ability to understand and track departmental sales on an ongoing basis.

Auditing/Compliance:
  • Conducts alcohol and age restriction control in accordance with company policies.
  • Enforce compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy for safety and loss prevention.

Operations/Facility Management:
  • Monitor store inventory levels on a daily basis to ensure adequate availability of products.
  • Handles receiving shipping, invoicing, cash handling and management of cash.

Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of retail management experience, preferably in the arcade / entertainment industries.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.
Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
  • Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
  • Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.
