About the Role
As an iOS Engineer you will be tasked with developing features, optimizing performance, and using your perspective to steer the direction of our product. We expect you to take on a high level of ownership in your role, pushing your talent and skills to the absolute limit and continually demonstrating growth. If you're passionate about building social products, perfecting user experiences, and constantly leveling up your skillset, this role is perfect for you.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain the iOS app (SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift 5)
โ€ข Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and other cross-functional people
โ€ข Provide fresh, innovative ideas that benefit our company
โ€ข Continually raise our bar for innovation and engineering standards
โ€ข Keep up with the latest iOS trends, technologies, and best practices, and share knowledge with the team
Key Requirements
โ€ข You've built iOS apps before
โ€ข Join our NYC crew in person (We'll help you make the move if necessary)
Preferred Experience
โ€ข Experience designing apps yourself or being the primary point of contact between design & engineering
โ€ข Experience with consumer-facing applications. Bonus points for social / messaging apps
โ€ข Experience iterating on products using A/B tests, multivariate testing, or by gathering qualitative feedback
