Job description


The purpose of this position is to Assist Account Executives (AAE's) and Director of Life Sales in building and maintaining positive business relationships with Independent Marketing Originations (IMO) and their staff. Provide back-up support for AE's on all aspects of IMO support. Act as a home office based resource for IMO's on all aspects of their Americo relationship.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as additional Home Office contact for communication between IMO and Americo.
  • Co-develop and implement with AE special projects focused on sales and IMO relations.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of Americo products, services and procedures to support IMO's.
  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in IMO training meetings.
  • Participate in training sessions for other departments within the company.
  • Adhere to department budget constraints.
  • Present Americo in a manner consistent with it's corporate image.

Experience and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of Americo Products and services and how they can be used to increase sales
  • How Americo products compare to competitors, and what features and services differentiate Americo
  • What competitive influences exist in the marketplace that present opportunities and challenges for Americo
  • Well versed in current tax regulations and issues that affect Americo products
  • Strong understanding of Americo Operations area's processes and procedures
  • General understanding of each IMOs method of operation, product distribution, lead generation, agent recruiting and compensation and other important factors
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, written and oral, for effective, self confident, interaction with all levels of company personnel and external partners
  • Self-starter who can initiate activity and handle multiple priorities in order to achieve goals and objectives
