THE POSITION

The Amazon Marketplace Specialist will report to Wondercide’s Director of Brand Growth, working closely with the Sr. eCommerce Channel Manager for Amazon, and play a critical role in delivering on our growth ambition and mission.  This is a hands-on position where you will make a positive impact on Wondercide’s Amazon and marketplace channels, with emphasis on improving listing optimization and account hygiene. You will also support data analysis & reporting, identify new opportunities to drive sales growth, and execute strategies that maximize customer satisfaction on Amazon in a mission-driven and entrepreneurial environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Listing Hygiene & Optimization

  • Review Wondercide listings on Amazon daily, including: 
    • Evaluate placement of listings in search results, including both branded and non-branded search terms, noting any changes in ranking as well as competitive monitoring.
    • Conduct routine compliance checks on our listings to ensure the latest regulatory changes are in effect.
    • Identify and address unauthorized sellers across Amazon and other online marketplaces.
    • Upload new content to the PDP as necessary, including carousel images, A+ Content, and support the execution of A/B testing initiatives.
  • Account Hygiene and Maintenance 
    • Engage with Seller Central Support to create cases as issues arise, follow up on outstanding issues, and drive timely resolutions.
    • Communicate with Sr. Channel Manager on updates, action items, and escalations.
    • Assist in proactively identifying and mitigating potential account health and operational issues.
  • Reviews Management
    • Monitor customer feedback, reviews, and ratings weekly to identify areas for improvement and regularly share insights with the Sr. Channel Manager and the broader team.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Utilize analytics tools (Helium10, Amazon Brand Analytics) to track search term results for top 15-25 terms per SKU, analyze trends, and share actionable insights with the Sr. Channel Manager and broader team.
    • Update KPI docs and partner with Sr. Channel Manager to identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support with Profit Building Tactics
    • Support the team with our affiliate marketing and other revenue-driving initiatives on Amazon.
    • Coordinate and facilitate Amazon Live events as needed.
    • Contribute to promotional campaigns and tentpole event planning.
    • Assist Growth Team and other departments with various tasks and special projects as needed.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Participate in and contribute to weekly and bi-weekly team meetings focused on Amazon performance, strategic initiatives, and broader Growth Team objectives.


Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Have 3+ years of experience working in digital marketing platforms/tools like Amazon, Helium10/Jungle Scout, Google Suite, Microsoft Suite
  • A fast learner with strong communication skills - oral, written, and listening - interested in a career in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a “get it done” attitude, and some experience with data-driven decision making.
  • A general understanding of Amazon and other shopping marketplaces with a passion for driving growth and innovation in DTC channels.
  • A curious self-starter with strong project management skills and is extremely detail-oriented.
  • A multi-tasker who can thrive in a fast-paced, highly seasonal business.
  • A collaborative team player with a passion for our mission, “We exist to empower families to Protect their Pack.”


Preferred additional skills include (helpful but not required):

  • Familiar with Amazon tools like Helium10, Feedback Five
  • Familiar with Project Management platforms like ClickUp, Asana, Wrike, etc.

This is a hybrid role based in Round Rock, TX. The first 90 days are fully in-office as you get up to speed. After that, the schedule is Tuesday–Thursday in the office, with Monday and Friday remote.
