Job description

Join the team that is evolving how all of Amazon manages headcount. The AWS FinTech team is seeking a bright, self-driven, and collaborative Sr. Product Manager-Technical to build and scale an AI-driven headcount management application at Amazon.

Headcount management at a global scale is complex, with multiple systems, mechanisms, and processes that often do not provide the flexibility that individual teams or organizations require to run their businesses.
We are building the next-generation headcount management application for the future, one where Agentic AI is not a feature, but a foundation. We are seeking a highly driven individual to help us build a world-class product that uses autonomous, AI-powered workflows to help organizations across Amazon manage headcount with speed, accuracy, and intelligence.
As a Senior Product Manager-Technical, you will be responsible for the complete product lifecycle from vision, strategy, identifying customer needs, design, development, and adoption

You will partner with world-class development and UX teams, global business leaders at all levels, and Recruiting, Finance, and HR teams to deliver and scale this application. You will spearhead the definition of new capabilities, including Agentic AI capabilities that reduce manual effort and drive intelligent decisioning through expertly crafted narratives and working-backward documents. You will also model what it means to be an AI-native product leader, using AI tools daily to accelerate your own writing, analysis, and decision-making.
Our ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills with experience building highly technical products - including products that incorporate Agentic AI and autonomous workflow automation

You bring sound business judgment and demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams. You have a proven ability to execute strategically and tactically, and are excited to take on new, ambiguous challenges that will be industry-defining.
If you are passionate about building at big scale with AI at the core, this is your chance to make history.

You will need to think and act fast, deal with ambiguity, and develop ideas into products that work on a global scale.
Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Product Manager-Tech, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the vision for the product and clearly articulating the strategy to management
- Defining and driving Agentic AI capabilities - such as autonomous headcount workflows, intelligent decisioning, and multi-step AI-powered automation - into the product roadmap
- Setting the direction for world-class user experience design
- Business and product roadmap planning, developing features, and defining requirements
- Preparing launch plans, determining release goals, and prioritizing features
- Developing and using metrics to improve the business constantly
- Working with global users to drive adoption
- Leveraging AI tools to accelerate your own productivity - including drafting narratives, synthesizing customer research, analyzing data, and preparing executive communications faster and at higher quality
A day in the life
You'll work with multiple personalities- Business leaders, Finance, HR, Development and UX team to bridge the gap between Tech solutions and the end users of the Headcount management application. You'll work with leaders around the world to refine how their organizations utilize the platform, prioritize and maintain the product roadmap and drive effective adoption

Whenever and wherever possible, you'll seek to align to a single source of truth for headcount data and eliminate manual processes while taking every opportunity to make life easier for your customers.
