Global Customer Fulfillment (GCF) Central Functions Finance provides optimized, effective, and timely analysis to drive the Fulfillment Center dual charter of lower cost and faster delivery.
Our finance team provides analytical support varying between macro level strategic issues with our Steam business partner, to micro level crisp financial analyses that indicate go/no-go recommendations on specific capacity and savings projects.
Our partner teams include GCF supply chain and capacity, PPT, PXT Finance, accounting and E2E FP&A.
Key job responsibilities
- Partner with your team and develop all planning, and forecasting models while overseeing their continuous innovation and communication to both your operations & other business partners.
- Working and presenting the financial narrative on our long term plans, with a focus on key risks and opportunities.
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
- Manage and participate in finance and accounting activities across several locations.
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Create a "learn by doing" environment by engaging with on-the-floor associates and managers to promote and encourage continued customer focus
- Leading components of our long term planning, ad-hoc project analyses, and planning related insights.
- Working with partner teams to identify and report on key financial metrics
- Working with partner teams to understand gaps behind planning related variances
- Continuously improving existing processes with an eye toward automation, scalability, and efficiency
- Complete complex business modeling and analysis to identify operating improvements and deep dive on cost structures
- Influence business decisions with effective verbal and written communication, data driven analysis and modeling, and presentation of options and alternatives
- Facilitate financial review meetings with various levels of leadership to ensure effective finance and cost management
- Recommend, develop, and implement policies and programs that guide the organization in maintaining and improving its profitability
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key data is timely and accurate
- Manage data in financial systems, and create insightful reports to drive business decisions
- Reconcile financial reports across different businesses; drive process improvements, automation, and consistency
- Drive regular metrics reviews, as well as analytical support through deep-dive analyses
- Improve tools, processes, scale existing solutions, create new solutions as required based on stakeholder needs.
