Job Description Strategic Financial Analyst - Legal Industry - AI & Power BI A highly respected and growth-oriented professional services organization is seeking a Strategic Financial Analyst to join its finance leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for a forward-thinking finance professional to play a critical role in shaping the organization's financial strategy through advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and business intelligence initiatives. This position will partner closely with executive leadership and key operational stakeholders to transform complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision making, operational performance, and long-term growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will combine strong financial analysis capabilities with advanced technical skills in data visualization, business intelligence platforms, and emerging AI-enabled technologies. Key Responsibilities Support the organization's financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and strategic analysis initiatives through advanced analytics and business intelligence tools. Design, develop, and maintain dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and related technologies to provide real-time visibility into key financial and operational metrics.

Leverage AI-enabled platforms, including Microsoft Fabric and Data Lake environments, to aggregate, structure, and analyze large and complex data sets. Monitor and analyze critical financial metrics, including revenue, profitability, productivity, accounts receivable, utilization, and variance reporting. Develop predictive financial models and scenario analyses to identify trends, mitigate risk, and uncover opportunities for operational and financial improvement.

Utilize AI-driven tools and automation technologies to enhance forecasting accuracy, streamline reporting workflows, and improve data-driven decision making. Partner with executive leadership, practice group leaders, and operational stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and support firm-wide planning initiatives. Support sophisticated financial modeling related to partner compensation analysis, lateral evaluations, practice group performance, and other strategic growth initiatives.

Collaborate closely with technology and knowledge management teams to integrate financial data into broader enterprise reporting and analytics platforms. Help drive innovation by identifying and implementing emerging technologies that enhance reporting capabilities, automation, and predictive analytics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field required.

5+ years of experience in financial analysis, strategic finance, FP&A, business intelligence, or data analytics. Prior experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Excel, financial modeling, and dashboard development required.

Experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake architecture, AI-enabled analytics tools, or similar data environments strongly preferred. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to synthesize complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with executive leadership and operational teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Strong intellectual curiosity, strategic mindset, and passion for leveraging technology and data to drive business performance.
