Job description

Are you a world-class storyteller and technologist who can translate complex cloud and AI solutions into compelling customer value for healthcare and life sciences. At AWS, we're seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager who can define and lead the go-to-market strategy for high-impact customer segments within healthcare and life sciences.
As the world's leading cloud and AI provider with 200+ services, AWS needs senior strategic thinkers who can connect the dots across our vast portfolio to address the unique needs of healthcare and life sciences customers. In this role, you'll operate with complete independence to define the product marketing strategy for specific high-impact HCLS customer segments and solution areas (e.g., healthcare data and analytics, EHR on AWS) -- working backwards from customer needs to influence product roadmaps, shape value propositions, and align cross-functional teams toward coherent go-to-market approaches

You'll be the connective tissue between product, sales, business development, and marketing -- synthesizing market intelligence, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to drive clarity on customer needs and how we should position our offerings.
We're looking for a unique blend of storyteller, technologist, and business strategist -- someone who can dive deep into technical architecture while crafting crisp, compelling narratives and value propositions that resonate with CIOs, CTOs, and line-of-business leaders. This person must be an exceptional communicator: equally comfortable writing a keynote script, presenting to an industry analyst, authoring a positioning document, or pitching a CIO in an executive briefing. The messaging and storytelling they develop will anchor go-to-market motions for their segment(s), with use cases and narratives cascading across GTM and marketing activities.
If you thrive at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and healthcare and want to impact how organizations around the world leverage cloud computing and AI to improve patient outcomes, accelerate drug discovery, and transform healthcare operations, this role is for you.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and own the product marketing strategy -- positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation -- for assigned high-impact HCLS customer segments and solution areas

Act as "final pen" on high-visibility messaging within their segment(s).
- Partner with product, sales, BD, SA, and GTM teams to shape go-to-market approaches, develop ideal customer profiles, and define priority use cases and differentiators.
- Synthesize market data, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and analyst research to identify product opportunities and influence partner teams' roadmaps.
- Own product launch strategy and execution for high-priority HCLS offerings, including naming, audience definition, and marketing vehicles. Drive field enablement to support launches and campaigns.
- Craft compelling narratives -- keynotes, positioning documents, reference architectures, demonstrations, and customer stories -- that translate complex technical capabilities into clear value for diverse audiences.
- Represent AWS in executive briefings, industry events, and analyst interactions. Drive cross-functional alignment through business and senior leader reviews.
